Seably Presents the First Leisure Marine Courses to be Awarded Acceptance Certification Guided by DNV Standard at Monaco Yacht Show 2022

Digital training platform provider Seably, invites the media to a presentation by the international accredited classification society DNV on training provider certification

28 September 2022 – Global maritime digital training platform Seably, is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded the DNV SeaSkill™ standard ST-0595. The first of its kind, the standard’s certification aims to ensure the quality of training platforms, and it was developed in co-operation with Seably as a pilot customer. To the requirements of DNV Standard, Seably established the criteria and verification process to accept Training Providers and their Learning Programs on the platform.

The first Learning Provider serving the leisure marine industry accepted through this process is MedAire an International SOS Company, which was awarded its certification this week.

The Seably Leisure division is led by superyacht specialist Abi McGrath, former Director and owner of leading membership organisation Acrew. Abi commented: “We are extremely proud to have worked with DNV to create the DNV SeaSkill™ standard ST-0595, which is the first of its kind and to be the first certified accordingly, which puts Seably at the forefront of maritime industry training.”
