Nicola Walker began her logistics career with Roadferry in Belfast – the company that pioneered ro-ro services across the Irish Sea – before taking up a position as Divisional Director with DSV Road who ultimately acquired Roadferry through acquisition. Her role encompassed managing the UK/Ireland market for both full loads and groupage services as well as commercial responsibility for 100,000sq ft of warehousing for DSV Solutions. She built up a strong commercial and operational team within the Danish company and was heavily involved in Global Account Management. With the formation of Cronus Logistics in the autumn of 2013, Nicola was headhunted to be Managing Director. She has a complete overview of the daily operations from the Cronus Offices in Warrenpoint, from recruiting the right staff through to developing the sales plans and defining future strategy. Nicola has been instrumental in establishing Cronus Logistics as a strong force in door to door full load services across the Irish Sea. Her strategic knowledge of the logistics industry and her ability to find the right people to make it work has seen Cronus hit the ground running.
Her vision and passion is to make Cronus Logistics the leading operator across the Irish Sea into and out of the south of England & Wales and a major logistical partner to the import and export trade using this route, establishing Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin and Warrenpoint as key gateways between Great Britain and Ireland.
