In this new role, Aashish brings decades of elite leadership, HR, technical and seafaring expertise to lead the engineering and technical content on the Seably platform.
Aashish Puri needs no introduction within the maritime sector – he is a progressive and accomplished keynote speaker and a respected and well known marine HR professional with a strong engineering background. With a stellar career spanning two decades, he has easily traversed between marine engineering, strategy and operations, and talent management and development.

Aashish started his career as a seafarer before moving to shore-based roles. In his last position at Maersk, he created and built a Talent and Development team which was responsible for the training and development for over 15000 seafarers.

He headed up South Pacific Manning Services on behalf of six German partner shipping companies employing Kiribati crew onboard vessels. He also led the complete integration of the entire Hamburg Sud fleet into Maersk Line fleet from a crewing perspective.
His most recent role was at Maritime, Oil and Gas Consulting Services Ltd where he was the Global Director of Strategic Partnerships.
Aashish holds a Certificate of Competency Chief Engineer Officer from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), and a Diploma in Maritime Studies from the Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA). He already holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is currently pursuing his second Masters.
